ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a unique opportunity for a Fleet Relationship Manager to join our WA Government Team based in our Wangara, Perth Head Office.

This role will see you act as a dynamic and strategic central point of contact between Fleetcare and our WA Government clients and the State Fleet relationship. You will drive excellence across our fleet services with a view to retaining and growing our portfolio and be responsible for the leadership and performance of our WA Government Account Managers.

You will work closely with our WA Government Fleet Manager to achieve the following position objectives:

• Build long term customer relationships with our WA Government clients and achieve the status of trusted adviser and the "go to person" on all fleet and vehicle matters.
• Drive process and performance improvements, identify inefficiencies in fleet operations and implement data driven processed based solutions within current working practices.
• Lead and develop a high performing team of Account Managers by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support strategic growth and innovation contributing to the development of new fleet service offerings and operational strategies.
• Retain and grow our existing client base and maximise Fleetcare's revenue streams and profitability.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

To be considered, you will have:

• Proven experience in a similar Relationship Management role within fleet operations, logistics or transport management.
• Excellent relationship management and influencing skills, with an ability to both develop and maintain long term commercial relationships at all levels.
• Results focused with a proven ability to meet targets and objectives.
• Effective leadership skills with experience managing teams or direct reports.
• Strong customer service ethic with customer centricity drive.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Strategic thinking capacity and a proactive, solutions-orientated approach to challenges.
• Ability to work autonomously whilst also enjoy collaborating as part of a team.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management systems and tools and advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Power BI or similar systems.
