We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation in the Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service.
The SEWB team provides comprehensive care, embedding three streams of care: medical, therapeutic, and cultural and social support with intensive case management as required.
The successful candidate will provide psychosocial supports aimed at restoring socio-economic and cultural functioning to clients referred to Congress' Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Screening and assessments to identify client needs
- Case management to facilitate access to community services
- Advocacy to support clients' rights and interests
- Outreach and supportive counselling to promote client well-being
- Group work to facilitate social connections and community engagement
The Social Worker will work closely with the SEWB Manager and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
