About the Role

We are seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in improving and supporting the day-to-day lives of young people in our care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as personal hygiene and domestic tasks
  • Engaging and communicating with clients to promote their independence and well-being
  • Administering medication and implementing behaviour support plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • A current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Clearance
  • 6 months experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Medicare evidence of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or similar
  • Influenza vaccinations
  • Car insurance
