The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Materials & Systems Advisor to join our team in West Perth, to provide expert advice on the management of materials and drive business growth. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive remuneration package and ongoing development opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Materials & Systems Advisor is to identify and present recommendations to the business on the management of materials, with a focus on improving Qube's return on spend. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating tenders for key commodities and making recommendations to the business.
  • Supporting the implementation of changes to current suppliers.
  • Maintaining data integrity within the maintenance systems for materials management.
  • Consolidating and tracking rise and fall movements aligned to vendor contracts.
  • Supporting the deployment of consignment stock mobility projects and creating and maintaining parts list catalogues within a maintenance system.
  • Timely and accurate data entry.
  • Supporting data entry for Life Cycle Costing cost reviews.
Qualification & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
  • Certificate II or III in Business / Procurement or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Ability to work well within a small team.
