Construction Project Leadership

We are seeking an experienced Construction Delivery Manager to lead the execution of our commercial and defense projects. As a seasoned construction professional, you will be responsible for delivering complex multimillion-dollar projects, coaching and mentoring growing delivery teams, and driving consistency and quality across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the safe and high-quality delivery of commercial and defense projects across the Northern Territory.
  • Oversee and mentor a delivery team including project managers, site managers, supervisors, junior project managers, and contract administrators.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and delivery stakeholders.
  • Own health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and quality assurance (QA) performance across all sites.
  • Drive consistent use of project management software and systems.
  • Visit project sites regularly to support teams and lead through presence.
  • Solve delivery issues early, manage resourcing, and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Help develop the capability of a young and eager delivery team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years in commercial construction with a proven track record in project delivery.
  • Strong background in leading multiple teams and projects across commercial and/or defense sectors.
  • Experience with remote delivery preferred - logistics, comms, and problem-solving outside metro areas.
  • Familiar with design and construct (D&C) and Australian standard (AS) contracts.
  • Experience driving adoption of project delivery software.
