Broadacre Agronomist Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Broadacre Agronomist.

This role is focused on supporting grower success and sustainable, profitable outcomes through practical agronomic advice and support.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with broadacre cropping clients.
  • Provide tailored agronomic advice across chemical, fertiliser, seed and soil health.
  • Conduct in-field assessments and deliver crop monitoring and planning services.
  • Develop seasonal programs and input plans to support on-farm success.
  • Identify opportunities to expand your client base and provide additional value-added services.
  • Stay informed on local agronomic trends, R&D, and emerging technologies.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science, agronomy or a related field.
  • Practical experience in broadacre/ horticulture/ viticulture agronomy, agricultural product sales, or crop consulting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cropping systems and sustainable input planning.
  • Sound use of digital farm management systems for planning and recording recommendations.
  • Current driver's licence and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Passion for Australian agriculture and a proactive approach to building client relationships.
