As a Medical Workforce Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our medical workforce.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Medical Workforce Unit, including coordinating education, rostering, and on-boarding for various health districts.
- Supports the delivery of clinical services across multiple hospitals and liaises with key stakeholders at state and national levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and administering JMO rosters, ensuring equitable and cost-effective practices are maintained.
- Maintaining daily rosters, including sick leave, overtime, and annual leave cover for all JMOs.
- Coordinating JMO on-boarding and credentialing, and managing rotation processes for various healthcare networks.
- Providing administrative support, including preparing reports, newsletters, correspondence, meeting papers, and audits.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and demonstrated proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office and Internet/Intranet.
Essential criteria include relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of roster and/or payroll processes and practices.
