Electrical Engineering Project Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned electrical engineer with project management expertise to join our national clients based in Parramatta.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work on a diverse range of projects, including retail and commercial developments, DC electric vehicle charging stations, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders: Collaborate closely with electrical authorities, project stakeholders, clients, and internal engineers to ensure successful project delivery and effective communication.
  • Design Development: Develop feasibility studies, concept designs, detailed designs, and issue-for-construction designs in compliance with relevant Australian Standards (AS3000, AS3008, AS61439, AS3010, AS2067).
  • Network Modelling: Model electrical networks using Powercad and other relevant tools to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside electrical drafters to produce high-quality design drawings and documentation.
  • Client Support: Provide ongoing assistance to clients during the construction phase, ensuring alignment with design specifications and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Project Management: Manage electrical engineering projects from initial concept to construction completion, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Shop Drawing Review: Review shop drawings for switchboard design and manufacture, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with project specifications.

Salary Range:

A competitive salary package of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience in electrical engineering, with expertise in building services, commercial projects, and renewable energy systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS3000, AS3008, AS61439, AS3010, and AS2067.
  • Proficient in electrical network modelling using tools like Powercad.
  • Experience in designing and managing projects involving low voltage, 11kV systems, BESS, and solar technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to liaise with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
