About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Parramatta, Australia.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including retail and commercial developments, DC electric vehicle charging stations, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

As an Electrical Engineering Project Manager with Randstad, you will be responsible for managing electrical engineering projects from initial concept to construction completion. This includes liaising with stakeholders, developing feasibility studies, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with stakeholders: Collaborate with electrical authorities, project stakeholders, clients, and internal engineers to ensure project success and effective communication.
  • Design Development: Develop feasibility studies, concept designs, detailed designs, and issue-for-construction designs in compliance with relevant Australian Standards.
  • Network Modelling: Model electrical networks using Powercad and other relevant tools, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Support: Provide ongoing assistance to clients during the construction phase of projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Project Management: Manage electrical engineering projects from initial concept to construction completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A demonstrated experience in electrical engineering at a senior level, with proven expertise in building services, commercial projects, and renewable energy systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS3000, AS3008, AS61439, AS3010, and AS2067.
  • Proficient in electrical network modelling using tools such as Powercad.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to construction completion, ensuring quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to liaise with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary package of approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
