The Role:

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Support Office at Toowoomba. This individual will partner with our operational management team, providing financial leadership, reporting, and support to Regional and Branch management personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and analysis of financial information, including business trends and key drivers.
  • Conducting monthly business reviews with Branch management.
  • Preparing business cases to support operational decision-making at the Branch level.
  • Assisting Branches with providing relevant information for the annual budget and reforecasting processes.
  • Participating in training to improve the financial acumen of our operations team.
  • Visiting each assigned Branch once per quarter to provide onsite support to the management team.
  • Building relationships with all Branch Managers and their teams, providing analytical support for decision-making.
  • Supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with ad-hoc projects, tasks, and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing financial support to operational teams.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, with a high degree of confidence in MS Excel.
  • Strong financial acumen, including the analysis and interpretation of financial data, identifying trends and key business drivers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to people of all levels of financial literacy.
  • CA/CPA Qualified.
  • Prior experience in the Heavy Machinery Industry or Dealerships would be highly regarded.
