Product Manager - Supplier Management - Online Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team at Commonwealth Bank. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing and day-to-day management of suppliers in line with the Supplier Lifecycle Framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage suppliers in line with the Supplier Lifecycle Framework.
  • Attend all operations and governance supplier meetings and forums.
  • Report on supplier performance and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities within current contract structures.
  • Review and process all supplier billing invoices.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and manage risks related to managing external suppliers.
  • Deliver programs that reduce risk &/or remediate issues where there is a supplier dependency.

Requirements

  • Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management capabilities. Success in the role requires the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities – need to have the motivation and be comfortable with investigating and providing recommended options/solutions.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering programs of change, ideally by directly managing a supplier relationship.
  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and ability to work flexibly through change.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and enjoy collaborating with others.
