Industrial Designer/Draftsperson Role Overview

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company and contribute to the design, manufacture, and sale of various products across Australia and export markets.

As an Industrial Designer/Draftsperson, you will be working closely with the design team to improve existing products and develop new concepts. Your advanced modeling skills in SolidWorks, experience with AutoCAD and 3D AutoCAD (desirable), and exceptional work ethic and integrity will make you a valuable asset to our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating 3D models in SolidWorks and technical drawings for production
  • Design collaboration to improve existing products and develop new concepts
  • Preparing detailed shop drawings, supporting documentation, and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Advanced modeling skills in SolidWorks
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D AutoCAD (desirable)
  • Exceptional work ethic and integrity
  • Adaptability and composure when facing complexities
