Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join our team at Dugald River Mine.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global resources company that mines, explores and develops base metal projects globally.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in underground metalliferous mining, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The role involves ensuring production activities are supported with appropriate plans and subsequent reports in alignment with the delivery of development and production targets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering and Queensland Explosives Security Clearance.

Dugald River Mine is one of the world's top 10 Zinc mine operations, which has been producing zinc concentrate for customers around the world since 2017.

The mine is committed to a low-carbon future, with a renewable energy transition underway.

The village features on-site accommodation, meal service, communal media facilities, gym, medical centre, tennis court, swimming pool, walking track and entertainment area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of appropriate, accurate and timely mine operating plans, designs, schedules and budgets.
  • Communication with key stakeholders.
  • QAQC to ensure work is delivered in alignment with plan.
  • Support projects undertaken and mining related processes.
