The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Carer to join our team at the Edward Collick Home in Kalgoorlie. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a critical role in providing individualised care and support to our residents, promoting their physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with their care needs, including personal hygiene, showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and mealtime assistance;
  • Administering medication, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a harmonious working environment, respecting the rights and dignity of all individuals;
  • Providing advocacy and support for residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns addressed;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or relevant qualification;
  • A valid Police Clearance, no older than 6 months;
  • NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain);
  • Experience within the aged care industry;
  • Previous experience administering medications;
  • Evidence of current Flu and Covid Vaccinations;
  • Effective communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships with residents;
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
