Director of Building Operations

PBD Architects is a prominent design-focused architecture practice recognised for creativity, attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

We work across residential, commercial, seniors living, aged care, master planning and hospitality, consistently delivering projects that balance innovative design with practical solutions.

This role will see you oversee project delivery with a strong focus on quality control, technical excellence and client relationships.

You will play a key role in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards, both aesthetically and functionally.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of construction drawings and documentation
  • Leadership of quality control processes across multiple projects
  • Resource management and forecasting to maintain efficient teams and profitable projects
  • Monitoring of delivery timelines and budgets to ensure targets are met
  • Support for Project Leaders and Associates in resolving technical and construction challenges
  • Acting as a bridge between design and delivery to uphold the design intent through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and contractors to resolve documentation and construction queries
  • Mentoring team members on technical delivery and documentation best practice

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of local architecture experience with strong construction and delivery expertise, registration as an Architect in Australia and excellent resource management skills.
