Hardware Support Technician Position

The role of Hardware Support Technician is crucial in the Digital Health Services division. Working closely with the Hardware Support Officer and Operational Managers, the technician provides technical assistance and support for hardware-related issues to customers.

The position will be responsible for configuring, delivering and installing PCs/Laptops, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware problems, and offering timely and effective solutions.

This opportunity exists within the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts. The Hardware Support Technician plays a key role in supporting customers across all facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance and support for hardware-related issues.
  • Configuring, delivering and installing PCs/Laptops.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware problems.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, and/or equivalent demonstrated verified experience, are essential for this role. Additionally, proven experience as an end user support technician or similar role, with strong knowledge of hardware, software, peripherals, and accessories, is highly desirable.
