Opportunity

YMCA Victoria is seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Armstrong Creek. This is a permanent full-time position with working hours varying from Monday to Friday, between 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm, with ample administration time during the day.

The hourly rate for the position is between $34 - $41 p/hour (depending on your qualification % super).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
  • Work with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
  • Create a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners;
  • Manage a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program

What do you need?
  • You'll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
  • You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
  • You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check - employee check
  • You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment
