Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in healthcare?

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Sydney's CBD.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Quality Management System within our Northern NSW region.

You will coordinate data collection, internal audit schedules and manage local quality initiatives at all the health facilities within our health units.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SYSTEMS APPROACH TO HEALTH CARE DELIVERY
  • BECOMING THE LOCAL LEAD AGENT FOR ALL ISSUES AROUND HEALTH SERVICES ACCREDITATION AND PERFORMANCE AGAINST STANDARDS
  • BECOMING THE LOCAL LEAD AGENT FOR THE GARRISON HEALTH OPERATIONS AUDIT FRAMEWORK INCLUDING SELF-ASSESSMENTS AND CLINICAL AUDIT SCHEDULE
  • PROVIDING TRAINING AND DIRECT ASSISTANCE IN CLINICAL QUALITY IMPROVEMENT METHODOLOGY FOR PERSONNEL IN THE HEALTH UNIT
  • ACTIONING CLINICAL IMPROVEMENT TASKS
  • PROVIDING REQUIRED REPORTS TO AND PARTICIPATING AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE REGIONAL CLINICAL GOVERNANCE WORKING GROUP
  • UNDERTAKING TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RESOLUTION OF COMPLAINTS, CLINICAL REVIEWS/INVESTIGATIONS AND CLINICAL INCIDENTS

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP
  • A MINIMUM 5 YEARS FULL TIME EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE AS AN AHPRA REGISTERED HEALTH PRACTITIONER
  • CURRENT UNCONDITIONAL AND UNRESTRICTED REGISTRATION WITH AHPRA
  • THE ABILITY TO HOLD AND MAINTAIN A BASELINE SECURITY CLEARANCE
