About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Site Administrator to join our team at BMA Caval Ridge Mine. As a key member of our production team, you will provide administrative support to our Production Managers, Superintendents, and Supervisors to drive efficiency across operational routines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the production team, including calendar management, email management, and data entry.
- Support the development and delivery of work plans, manage the execution of administrative functions, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage work schedule rules, crew lists, and corvus, and create and maintain position data.
- Communicate effectively and build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and coordinate meeting logistics.
- Creation and preparation of reports and communications across the production team.
- Data entry in line with processes, compliances, policies, strategies, and guidelines set.
- Attend safety meetings and engage in field leadership.
- Actively identify improvement opportunities and time optimization solutions to forward plan work and ensure effectiveness of leadership team.
- Travel and accommodation bookings, expense management, and reconciliation.
- Strong administrative skills, with a focus on providing day-to-day assistance to the department manager and production team.
- Previous demonstrated experience in an administrative role, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to work and the ability to multi-task while prioritizing complex tasks.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal, on a variety of levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across multiple departments.
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes.
- A positive attitude, with a willingness to adapt quickly to the work environment and work as a team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters with diplomacy.
