At Tractebel, we are seeking a Hydropower Equipment Specialist to support our growing Water business in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients on matters related to the design of hydraulic structures.
  • Leading or supporting the development of technical studies locally, including preparation of reports, calculation notes, and technical memos.
  • Reviewing and validating specific project deliverables as required.
  • Participating in and leading internal and external technical meetings with clients and partners.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in hydropower design is required.
  • Over 10 years of experience as an electrical expert for electromechanical equipment or a mechanical expert for hydromechanical components are needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a good understanding of client expectations, and be able to work independently on moderately complex tasks. Fluency in English is also required.
