Job Description: Chief Financial Operations Specialist

The primary goal of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is to safeguard public health by ensuring that only qualified professionals are registered.

  • Provide financial support to the reporting and analysis team, as well as the broader organisation.
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data is generated and utilised.
  • Undertake month-end accounting processes, including journal development, financial review/analysis, and other related tasks.
  • Develop precise budgets and ongoing financial forecasts.
  • Deliver reports to stakeholders within the organisation.

About You

You will be an experienced accountant with expertise in end-to-end financial activities. An exceptional communicator, able to effectively interact with various stakeholders and convey complex financial information to facilitate informed decision making.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, accompanied by CPA/CA certification.
  • Experience in management accounting, including month-end processes and financial analysis.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
