Leadership Opportunity in NSW
We are seeking a strategic leader to drive sales growth and manage our Professional business across New South Wales.
About the Role:The State Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the NSW region, achieving quarterly and annual sales targets and EBITDA through team management, account retention, and new business development.
- Develop and execute business strategies, report progress to the Regional Director
- Drive sales growth and meet/exceed quarterly and annual targets (Sales, SGP, DOP, EBITDA)
- Implement price increases on time and maximize margins and profitability
- Identify and win new accounts within pricing/margin guidelines
- Recruit, train, and manage Account Managers and Technical Service Representatives
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching to ensure team success
- Lead and motivate the Sales & Service team; remove roadblocks and address performance issues
- Ensure high-quality service delivery to all accounts and maintain product/equipment standards
- Promote CRM usage (Salesforce) and ensure accurate customer data and productive time management
- Uphold Health, Safety & Environmental standards through safe behavior and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with Sector Managers and Business Development Managers to execute sector-specific strategies
Key Requirements:
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L
- Minimum 5 years of proven leadership, building high-performing teams
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills; able to sell complete solutions
- Business-savvy, goal-driven, and committed to growth
- Skilled in identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Willingness to travel interstate as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and a true team player
- Disciplined in goal setting and achievement
