**Job Description**

We're seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our data strategy, driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making. As Head of Data and Analytics, you will lead a team of experts in building scalable data pipelines, developing cutting-edge analytical models, and delivering actionable recommendations that inform business decisions.

You'll be responsible for shaping our data architecture, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and implementing best practices for data governance and quality. Your expertise in data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau will enable you to craft compelling stories from complex data sets, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Your success will be measured by the impact of your work on business outcomes, including revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive process changes that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our data strategy, aligned with business goals and objectives
  • Build and manage a high-performing data analytics team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure skills development and career growth
  • Design and deploy scalable data pipelines, leveraging modern technologies such as Kafka, AWS/GCP, Python, and R
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytical models, applying statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to drive business insights
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, promoting data literacy and enabling stakeholders to make informed choices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics leadership roles, preferably in retail or e-commerce industries
  • Proven track record of delivering business value through data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages (Python, R), data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau), and data management systems (Kafka, AWS/GCP)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources, with ability to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively
