Warehouse Assistant


As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient storage and dispatch of stock. This involves receiving goods from suppliers, unloading and storing them safely, maintaining accurate records and invoices, and participating in regular stock takes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing stock deliveries, including checking quantities and inspecting items for damage or defects.
  • Unloading and storing stock in a safe and organized manner, using warehouse equipment as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and inventory levels.
  • Participating in regular stock takes to ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, such as facility maintenance and upkeep.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Basic math skills, with ability to accurately record and manage inventory levels.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
