Job Description

This is a key role within our rapidly expanding distribution network, based in Dandenong. As a Distribution Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring product availability and stock optimization through efficient planning.

In close collaboration with the demand & supply planning, and operations teams, this role oversees end-to-end inventory and distribution planning for the L'Oréal Australia distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage product replenishment across local warehouses for ongoing, promotional, and launch products.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels across the network by periodically reviewing stock policy and system parameters.
  • Collaborate with category management and supply chain management teams to manage launch & promotional forecasts and stock arbitration.
  • Become a key user of replenishment tools and support initiatives to improve the tools and process.
  • Analyse and report on KPIs including DIFOT (Delivery in Full and on time), RO fill rate, Days of Supply, Master data integrity, and E&O.
  • Manage excess and obsolete (E&O) stock across the warehousing network with periodic analysis, reporting, and executing recalls.
  • Lead and coordinate improvement projects to simplify and automate processes, driving service level and removing complexity in the supply chain.
  • Educate the business on process, best practices, and operating standards related to distribution planning.
Requirements:
  • SAP expertise in physical distribution & materials management is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer expectations and high-level customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, business, or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate and structure large amounts of data, with strong knowledge of Excel required.
  • At least years' experience in supply chain planning functions such as production, supply, demand, or distribution planning is strongly preferred.
  • Pro-active, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong organisational skills (multi-tasking).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
