Job Title: Exploration Geologist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to support the day-to-day operations of a diamond drilling program in the East Pilbara. This role is offered on a short-term contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily supervision of diamond rigs
  • Approving plods, assays, and database entry
  • Drill core logging and interpretation
  • Rig inspections and general safety inspections
  • Surface geochemical sampling

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in diamond drilling programs within a mining or exploration environment
  • Strong core logging skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Current Australian working rights and manual driver's license
