About the Company

Our client is an ASX-listed gold exploration and development company, making waves with its flagship project near Leonora in Western Australia. Backed by strong leadership and a clear vision, they're rapidly advancing toward the next stage of development and seeking passionate geology professionals to help shape that journey.

The Opportunity

This is your chance to take on a pivotal role as Senior Geologist, reporting to both the Exploration Manager and Principal Geologist. You'll be at the forefront of discovery and development, leading field-based programs, interpreting exploration results, and mentoring a dedicated geology team. Your expertise will directly impact exploration strategies and resource development for this exciting project.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day exploration activities, including drilling and sampling programs
  • Supervise and mentor field geos and contractors in RC, RAB/AC, and diamond drilling
  • Plan and execute effective geological programs, ensuring quality control and accurate data capture
  • Analyse geological, geophysical, and geochemical datasets to support targeting decisions
  • Contribute to budgeting, cost tracking, and timely reporting to support management planning
  • Maintain high QA/QC standards across all geological processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance project milestones and technical outcomes

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Geology (Honours or Masters preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in gold exploration and/or production geology
  • A strong understanding of orogenic gold systems and structural geology
  • Demonstrated success managing drill programs and leading field teams
  • Experience working within heritage and environmental frameworks
  • Proficiency in geological modelling software (ideally Datamine Studio EM/RM)
  • A hands-on, proactive attitude and willingness to work in the field when required
