About the Role
As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will report to the Accounts Payable Team Leader and be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support. The key functions of your role will be completing payments and controlling expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling properly authorised invoices. A key focus will be to assist the roll out of automation technology across all entities, transitioning to a paperless accounts system.
Duties:
- Ensure vendor accounts are paid within terms and outstanding invoices are paid
- Accurate and timely entry of supplier invoices
- Reconciliation statements
- Schedule payment runs
- Run reports and support with month-end processes
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience processing accounts payable
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Minimum three years' experience within a large organisation processing large volumes of data
- A current National Police Check
- Experience with MYOB and Microsoft Dynamics desirable
