Catholic Schools Broken Bay is seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher – Diverse Learning Needs to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individual plans for each student in the support class, including behaviour and personal care support plans.
- Collaborate with CSBB teachers, Learning Partners, and external health and wellbeing service providers to ensure students are engaged in learning with successful outcomes.
- Facilitate safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive behaviour for learning.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in inclusive education and disability support.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards an initial teacher education program in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement.
- NESA accredited as Proficient or working towards Proficient accreditation.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the Diocese of Broken Bay.
