Classroom Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team at Eileen O'Connor Catholic School. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to students with diverse learning needs, and working collaboratively with our team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans for students with disability, including behavior and personal care support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, learning partners, and external health and wellbeing service providers to ensure students are engaged in learning with successful outcomes.
- Facilitate safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive behavior for learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in teaching students with disability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards an initial teacher education program in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement.
- NESA accredited as Proficient or working towards Proficient accreditation.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
