Procurement and Supply Chain Opportunities

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team across various submarine build, sustainment, and capability programs. These roles are critical to the successful delivery of complex defence projects and offer the opportunity to contribute to national security.

Available roles include:

  • Procurement Officer
  • Procurement Specialist
  • Senior Procurement Specialist
  • Digital Supply Chain Specialist
  • Digital Supply Chain Lead
  • Supply Chain Governance Specialist
  • Supply Chain Governance Lead

Key Responsibilities

You may:

  • Manage and execute sourcing activities in key categories to achieve procurement strategy and business objectives.
  • Manage full cycle procurement activities and categories.
  • Develop and support category strategies through engagement with stakeholders and the market.
  • Lead engagement with suppliers, defining sourcing, contracting, and negotiation strategies.
  • Support supply chain governance, compliance, and assurance.
  • Manage strategic IT procurement categories as part of the Digital Transformation Project.

Requirements

  • Hold qualifications in commerce, law, supply chain, project management, or extensive procurement experience.
  • Have membership or eligibility for membership of CIPS Australia.
  • Understand category management, sourcing, contracts, risk management, and best practices.
  • Have skills in MRP systems (IFS desirable) and Microsoft Office.
  • Have project management skills to deliver sourcing projects on time and within budget.
  • Have a proven record of delivering cost savings and business value.
  • Have excellent written communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of financial reporting and business case development.
  • Have strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Be eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting-Level 1.

Note: Roles require current security clearances and the ability to access protected US defence technology. Eligibility depends on nationality and clearance approvals.
