Lead Recovery Services

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic leader to head our team of professionals providing recovery-focused care. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting service users by utilising your lived experience to deliver high-quality services.

Our team works closely with service users, carers, and families to provide a continuum of care and support. We are committed to promoting an inclusive culture that values lived experience and actively involves service users in our work.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership and coaching, as well as a strong understanding of mental health and wellbeing. They will be able to utilise their skills and expertise to support staff development and provide practice supervision/line management to staff.

About the Role
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure delivery of high-quality services.
  • Support the development of a consistent narrative on the value of lived experience across quality, values, and service outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to integrate lived experience into their work and promote an inclusive culture.
  • Utilise your skills and expertise to support staff development and provide practice supervision/line management.
Key ResponsibilitiesJob Requirements
  • Completion of Intentional Peer Support Core and/or Advanced training is required.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mental Health, Peer Work, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or other health-related field are desirable but not required.
  • Experience as a peer worker or holding a designated lived experience role.
  • Proven experience in leadership and capability to coach, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Experience in Community Services, AOD, Mental Health, Disability, Social Welfare, Housing, Healthcare or Government sectors.
