About the Job

This is a part-time position working 14 hours per week, Monday and Tuesday. As a member of our care home team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality in patient rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and living spaces.

  • Maintain legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and living spaces to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment for residents.
  • Complete required documentation and reporting accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed, including laundry and catering support to the broader team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in aged care, although not essential, is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • An understanding of resident rights, aged care accreditation standards, and outcomes.
  • Flexible availability for various shifts throughout the week.
