Job SummaryThis role offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals who possess a passion for delivering high-quality care and support in 12-hour shifts. As a dedicated caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with client transfers, peg feeding, and medication administration as needed
- Support clients with life-sustaining technology and ensure fall prevention measures are in place
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with clients with MND care and peg feeding is highly desirable
- Manual handling skills and experience working with a two-person assist
- Background in aged care, disability support, and home & community care
- Relevant qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or Nursing
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR certifications
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the willingness to obtain one
