Rehabilitation is a dynamic field that focuses on empowering individuals to regain their independence and achieve their goals. As a key player in this field, we are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Counsellor or Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

About the Role

This challenging role involves undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop effective rehabilitation plans. You will design and deliver meaningful intervention programs that build functional capacity and independence. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing tailored rehabilitation plans and return-to-work strategies for clients.

  • Assess client needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote independence and functionality
  • Collaborate with clients, families, medical teams, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Australian-recognised degree qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • AHPRA accreditation or qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and professional registration with ASORC
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders
  • Confidence working independently in the community
  • Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance
