Key Role: Maintenance Planner\

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Planner to join our organization. This is a critical role that requires someone who thrives on structure, can work under pressure, and has the ability to keep complex operations running smoothly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all planned maintenance events across multiple sites. As a key member of our team, you will manage a rolling 3-week schedule of labour and events, issue detailed work packs to the field, coordinate with procurement to ensure parts are ordered and ready before work begins, schedule resources, site access, logistics, and labour for major component jobs, and respond to breakdowns when needed.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong experience in maintenance planning, coordination, or operations, ideally in heavy industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive, and have a bias for action.

They should also have experience using relevant software similar to AMT, GP, and D365.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Managing a rolling 3-week schedule of labour and events\
  • Issuing detailed work packs to the field\
  • Coordinating with procurement to ensure parts are ordered and ready before work kicks off\
  • Scheduling resources, site access, logistics, and labour for major component jobs\
  • Responding to breakdowns when needed\
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment\
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting to management as required\
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals\
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness\
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors\
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance planning and coordination\
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance of the organization\
  • Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies\
