Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance, repairs, and installations of various fixed plant assets.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about leadership and have experience in shutdown operations as leading hands or supervisors. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise works to ensure completion according to client specifications.
  • Lead a team of trade and non-trade personnel to achieve key objectives.
  • Liaise with clients and site-based personnel to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Plan and schedule work and labour requirements to optimize productivity.
  • Monitor progress against the work schedule and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Record and monitor team members' performance, provide mentorship, and address issues promptly.
  • Investigate and report incidents in a timely manner.
  • Conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications (QA/QC).
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience in Shutdown as Leading Hand or Supervisor.
  • Relevant Trade Certificate - Boilermakers or Fitters.
  • Section 44 or Schedule 26 training.
  • Rio, FMG, Roy Hill, BHP, Newmont inductions, or inductions for Goldfields based mine sites are advantageous.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • A National Police Check.
