Job Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to join our team in delivering essential water and wastewater services to the City of Gold Coast.

About the Role:

  • Ensure stakeholder concerns are addressed early and effectively during project planning and construction meetings.
  • Manage day-to-day stakeholder interactions, including enquiries, complaints, and access negotiations.
  • Develop and implement community engagement plans, managing proactive communications such as works notifications.
  • Visit work sites and undertake desktop studies to assess potential community impacts.
  • Attend and contribute to regular customer and community engagement team meetings.
  • Maintain the program's stakeholder database and image library.

Your Requirements:

  • Proven experience in infrastructure, water, or government projects is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • IAP2 certification is preferred but not essential.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hold a valid C Class Driving License.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
