Job Opportunity: Water Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Quality Specialist to join our team.

As a Water Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of expertise in all aspects of swimming pool maintenance with water quality management. You will also deliver a high standard of cleanliness and a safe swimming environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Have a solid understanding of pool chemical operational parameters or standards and how to maintain these ensuring a safe swimming environment
  • Understand and be able to operate, maintain and adjust all automated chemical metering and chemical dosing equipment to an operator's level
  • Maintain stock levels of pool chemicals and associated equipment ensuring hazardous chemicals, handling equipment and mechanical components are stored and managed safely
  • Experience with daily maintenance of filtration systems lint strainers chemical and centrifugal pumps
  • Ensure all Mobaro checklists and Maximo generated work orders are completed within scheduled time frames ensuring a consistent standard of workload output

About the Role:

The Water Quality Specialist will work between the hours of 5am to 10pm including weekends and rotate shifts when required.

Requirements:

  • Manual driver's license essential
  • Pool plant operator certificate advantageous
  • A Forklift license advantageous
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience with water filtration plants and small pump maintenance beneficial
  • Basic understanding of UV systems
  • Basic understanding of water hydraulics
