Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

As a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload with presentations from 0-17 years old. You will work with children and their families to assess, formulate, and treat mental health problems and family relationship issues.
The ideal candidate will have relevant clinical mental health experience in a community setting, including working with children and/or adolescents and their families. They will also possess demonstrated knowledge and skills in the assessment, formulation, and treatment of infant, child, and adolescent mental health problems and family relationship problems.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage complex caseloads with presentations from 0-17 years old
- Work with children and their families to develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing and registration with AHPRA or membership with AASW for Social Workers
- Relevant clinical mental health experience in a community setting
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the assessment, formulation, and treatment of infant, child, and adolescent mental health problems and family relationship problems
