Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Civil Infrastructure, Construction or Mining/Resource projects.
  • Recognised Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • An eye for detail and pride in work.
  • Previous experience in hard dollar contracting, structural concrete and civil works.
  • Proven commercial experience in forecasting and budget management, EOM processes and cost tracking skills.
  • Ideal candidate should reside locally in Gladstone, however DIDO/FIFO may be considered for the right applicant on a 10/4 Roster.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, adept at stakeholder engagement and negotiation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consult with Management
  • Develop project programs and execution plans
  • Build and maintain Client relationships
  • Manage compliance in line with relevant legislations, regulations and standards
  • Coordinate employees, sub-contractors, materials and machinery according to program and budget
  • Incident investigations with timely reporting
  • Management of the project quality assurance deliverables
  • Oversee performance improvement processes
  • Protecting the interests of the company with your expert skillsets
  • Monitoring on-site resources, materials, supplier deliveries, and construction progress in collaboration with site supervisors.
