This role offers the opportunity to take on a leadership position in our Solar Infrastructure Operations Team, overseeing the safe and efficient maintenance of solar farm equipment.

">About the Role:">
  • Provide expert technical guidance to a team of Electrical Technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.">
  • Oversee and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities across solar farm infrastructure and equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance.">
  • Lead troubleshooting and repair activities for electrical systems and components, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.">
  • Develop and implement safe operational procedures, including high-voltage switching, to ensure a risk-free working environment.">
  • Manage contractor interactions to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders.">
  • Participate in after-hours on-call support as part of a rotating roster, providing 24/7 coverage for critical maintenance needs.">
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders, maintenance records, and documentation, promoting transparency and accountability within the team.">
  • Maintain high standards of workshop organization, tooling, and equipment readiness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.">
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effectiveness.">

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience within electrical maintenance, power generation, or renewable energy, with a track record of delivering results-oriented projects.">
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices, with a proactive and safety-first approach, and certification in HV Electrical Switching (or willingness to obtain).">
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate, coach, and develop a team to achieve collective goals.">
  • Experience with maintenance systems, such as Maximo or Enablon, is an advantage, but not essential.">
  • Working knowledge of installation, maintenance, and instrumentation systems, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.">
  • Ability to lead a dedicated team within Australia's growing renewable energy sector, driving innovation and excellence in solar infrastructure operations.">
