About our client:
We are now working with a leading electrical engineering consultancy and systems integrator servicing industrial, utility, and government clients. They are a nationally recognised consultancy that delivers innovative, practical solutions that enhance production efficiency, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Job Description:
As part of our engineering team, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of low-voltage electrical systems. Working under the mentorship of a Senior Engineer, this role involves hands-on responsibilities in all project stages from concept and detailed design to site testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review electrical designs for power distribution, substations, and industrial applications
Perform load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and protection coordination studies.
Manage projects from feasibility and design to execution and commissioning.
Work with transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and other critical HV/MV components.
Ensure designs adhere to Australian regulations and industry best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Requirements:
RPEQ status is an advantage
Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineering Degree
Experience with mining, utilities, and heavy industry projects
HV/MV design experience.
Benefits:
Salary up to $160,000 + Superannuation (based on experience)
