Financial Accounting Advisory Services Specialist

We collaborate with clients to create effective, commercially sound, and technically compliant accounting solutions; reliable financial statements; and efficient financial processes that support their current business activities and inform their ongoing strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading various engagements, managing tasks, and participating in key projects.
  • Preparing high-quality deliverables tailored to client needs.
  • Overseeing workstreams, small-scale initiatives, and reviewing the work performed by team members.
  • Developing an understanding of clients' industry sectors, recognising key performance drivers, business trends, and new technical and industry developments.
  • Providing client insights, recommendations, and/or options through automation, digitisation, and process improvements.

We're looking for a Financial Accounting Advisory Services Specialist who has the skills and attributes below:

  • CA or equivalent professional qualification and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
  • Project management skills with a proven ability to execute under pressure.
  • The ability to build strong client relationships and cross-functional networks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail combined with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • A degree in accounting and/or another appropriate academic major.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/AASB) and understanding of finance function processes.
