Financial Advisory Expert

We're looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Financial Advisory Expert. As a key member of our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice, you'll be responsible for providing expert advice and services to clients across various industries.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your skills in financial accounting, auditing, and regulatory compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and participate in various engagements, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Prepare high-quality deliverables tailored to client needs, showcasing your expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee workstreams, small engagements, and review work performed by team members, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Develop an understanding of client industry sectors, recognizing key performance drivers, business trends, and new technical and industry developments.
  • Develop client insights, recommendations, and/or options through automation, digitization, and improvement of financial processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with proven ability to execute under pressure.
  • Able to build strong client relationships and cross-service line networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Degree in accounting and/or another appropriate academic major.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/AASB) and understanding of finance function processes.
