Experienced Façade Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled façade specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will provide technical expertise on façade systems, materials, and performance requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise on façade systems, materials, and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop innovative façade solutions.
  • Conduct façade assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and façade performance analyses.
  • Oversee façade construction, quality control, and site inspections to ensure design intent is met.
  • Manage complex projects independently and resolve project issues from concept design to detail design and construction stage.
  • Work with the design team to produce project deliverables.
  • Provide quick sketches to illustrate design ideas and substantiate them with preliminary structural calculations.
  • Stay up-to-date with façade market standards and codes of practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in façade consultancy, design, or engineering.
  • Knowledge of Australian building codes, façade regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
