Facade Specialist

The Facade Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire façade installation process from design to installation. This includes coordinating with designers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Procurement & Record-Keeping: Manage orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records to ensure timely project execution.
• Sample Submissions & Approvals: Organize and oversee sample submissions, ensuring compliance with project specifications and securing approvals before installation begins.
• International Coordination: Liaise with overseas teams to manage inspections, approvals, and deliveries of façade materials.
• Engineering & Design Coordination: Compile engineering data, review design documents, and ensure all façade elements meet project specifications.
• Delivery & Quality Control: Oversee receipt of façade materials, verify against delivery dockets, report damages or discrepancies, and maintain a defects register.
• Façade Protection & Defect Management: Ensure façade elements are protected on-site, manage a defects register, and coordinate resolution of any installation issues.
• Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Select, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely execution of façade installation.
• Project Scheduling & Compliance: Maintain project timelines, monitor installation progress, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Installation Oversight & Training: Provide guidance to lead hands on installation requirements and ensure compliance with best practices and project-specific guidelines.
• On-Site Quality Assurance & Handover: Conduct regular quality checks, oversee handover process, and ensure principal is informed on maintenance and care requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners, while documenting project progress and challenges.
• Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot technical challenges, implement value management strategies, and contribute to process improvements for future projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in façade coordination within construction industry, showcasing progressive responsibility and hands-on experience
• In-depth knowledge of various façade materials, construction methods, and system design
• Experience in coordinating façade project lifecycle from conception to completion
• Proven track record in coordinating and managing large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to façade systems
• Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM) and other relevant technical tools
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents
