Engineers Australia's transformation requires a visionary leader.

The Board of Directors is comprised of up to eight directors: six elected by delegates and two appointed directly by the Board.

We seek a second appointed director to assist in governing Engineers Australia through significant business and digital transformation, supporting strategic initiatives for engineering's critical contribution in Australia's economic future.

Transformation experience at Board or CEO level is essential, guiding large-scale business and digital transformation. Knowledge of capital markets, particularly institutional investment, and understanding of the future value of engineering in the Australian economy, is desirable.

Ambitious, results-driven individual with leadership skills, integrity, and technical expertise, required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, passion for engineering, and an open mind are essential.

Diversity among directors brings different perspectives to the Board's deliberations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Board in stewarding and governing Engineers Australia through significant business and digital transformation
  • Collaborate with senior-level contacts and contribute to the Board's deliberations
