Senior Research Scientist

The Principal Scientist will lead a key strategic initiative to develop in-house analytical testing capability. In consultation with senior leadership, you will be instrumental in establishing market trends and priorities and then deliver on a program of works to ultimately provide a superior stability offering of our compounded medicines to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the operation of the laboratory, ensuring compliance to procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
- Oversee the qualification of laboratory equipment.
- Manage, train, and support scientists and laboratory technicians.
- Develop and validate physical and chemical methods for analysis of various compounds, including monoclonal antibodies, antibiotics, and small chemical drug molecules.
- Design and conduct experimental work.
- Prepare protocols and reports according to company and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
- Investigate non-conformances, out-of-specifications, and deviations as required.
- Manage the stability study program.
You will ideally be Ph.D. qualified, commercially focused, familiar with the strict requirements of cGMP, and able to prioritize workloads to ensure desired outcomes are achieved to challenging deadlines. You will be an independent thinker and innovator with previous experience in various analytical techniques, including HPLC, CZE, ELISA, UV/VIS, and cell-based assays.
