About our role:

Supporting Workers through Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team of experts in workplace health and injury management. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, supporting workers to recover from physical and/or psychological injuries.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply clinical reasoning skills to support injured workers in their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Perform vocational assessments and provide counselling to assist workers in returning to work.
  • Work with employers and medical specialists to ensure seamless support for injured workers.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration or membership with a relevant professional body.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology or Occupational Therapy.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A passion for helping people rehabilitate and achieve positive outcomes.
